Nancy Shirley (Forte) O’Donnell, 76, of Medway, died Friday, April 17, 2015 at her home.
Born in Brookline on April 18, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Irene (WellFord) Forte, and grew up in Newton.
Mrs. O’Donnell was a resident of Medway since 1962. She earned an Associate’s Degree from the former Bryant & Stratton Junior College in Boston.
Mrs. O’Donnell was the owner of the former Nancy’s Fashions in Medway from 1985- 1992.
She is survived by four children, Lynn Strider and her husband Bob of Franklin, Leonard Scholl and his wife Teri of Franklin, Tennessee and Lori and Leslie Scholl, both of Massachusetts.
She is also survived by six grandchildren, Amanda, Jill, Jeff, Derek, Jennifer and Meghan and four great-grandchildren Brooke, Sage, Travis and Chelsea.
Everyone who knew Shirley would have known her for her hysterical, warm sense of humor. She loved her family, watching movies and enjoyed being with her many friends laughing and having fun.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Tuesday, April 21 at 10 a.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 - 7 p.m.
