WORCESTER-Gladys L. (Germaine) Volk, 78 of 4A Powers Court died Saturday, April 13th in Holy Trinity Nursing Home after an illness. Her husband Francis Volk died in 1995. She leaves her sister, Ruth Bizzarro of Worcester and many nephews and nieces. 3 sisters, Marjorie Maki, Rita Caruso and Irene Rabouin all predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of George and Marjorie (Marrone) Germaine and lived here all her life. Mrs. Volk was employed as an assembler at the Lindberg Heat Treating Company for many years before retiring. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, April 16th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
