Esther B. (Hennelly) Joy died Monday morning at Salemhaven Nursing Home in
Salem, NH, she was 90 years old.
She was born raised and educated in Lawrence, MA and moved to Salem, NH 63 years ago. Mrs. Joy worked as an Electrical Technician for Western Electric formerly in North Andover and retired in 1972. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Salem VFW Memorial Post # 8546 in Salem, NH, she was a member of St. Joseph Sodality and she had also worked as a Burler at Shawsheen Mills in Andover, MA and a member of St. Matthew Church in Windham, NH
She was the widow of Franklin A. Joy who died in 2003.

Her niece and caretaker, Mary Lou Hajjar and her husband Steven of Salem, NH
1 Sister, Helen Stott of Salem, NH
Several nieces & nephews
A calling hour will be at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home on Friday from 9:15 – 10:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church in Salem, NH at 10:30AM.. Cremation will take place after the services.
