Laurie Jean (Donald) Thomas, 76, of Norfolk formerly of Needham, died Tues Feb 8, 2005 at Emerald Court in Norwood.
Born in Manchester NH, she graduated from Needham High School in 1946, and had been active with her class reunions. She had worked as the Secretary to the Registrar of Graduate Program at Babson College in Wellesley for 16 years. She had lived in Needham for over 45 years before moving to Norfolk. She enjoyed music and dancing.
She is survived by her husband Paul F. Thomas, and her children Laurie Koch and her husband Helmut of Concord, NH, Laraine MacDonald and her husband Kevin of Franklin, Lynne Buckley and her husband John C. of San Diego, CA, Lisa Coveney and her husband John of Walpole, and Stephen Thomas and his wife Carol of Wrentham; 10 grandchildren and a great grandson. She was the sister of the late John H. Donald, Robert K. Donald and Ruth Donald.
A memorial service will be held on Sat Feb 12 at 11 AM in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave. Needham. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be in the funeral home on Fri from 4-7 PM.
