Jeannette E. (Boilard) Mathieu, 80, of Manchester died February 7, 2005 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home, Goffstown after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester on April 14, 1924, she was the daughter of Wilfrid and Blanche (Barbeau) Boilard. She lived in Manchester most of her life.
Mrs. Mathieu worked at Kelley’s Upholstery in Manchester for many years. She helped organize a monthly mass and rosary at the Kalivas Apartments where she lived.
She was married to Treffle A. Mathieu who died in 1980.
The family includes three children, Arthur L. Mathieu of Manchester, Celeste Mathieu-Lamb of Derry and Sandra Ann Thompson of Spring Hill, FL; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two sisters, Cecile Gagnon of Goffstown and Lillian Williams of Manchester; cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial reception was held Saturday February 12, 2005 in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St.. A funeral service followed at noon in the funeral home. Burial of cremated remains was in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
