SOMERSET - Everett Medeiros, age 85, husband of Irene (Massa) Medeiros, residence 3 Buxton Ave., Somerset, died Sunday at Charlton Memorial Hospital.He is survived by two Sons: Everett Medeiros, Jr. of Somerset and William Medeiros of Fall River, One Daughter: Dorothy Condry of Somerset, Seven Grandchildren, Nine Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandchild and Several nieces and nephews.
Born in Fall River, MA, the son of the late Joseph Medeiros and the late Mary (Rapoza) Medeiros. He was a Somerset resident since 1939. Before retiring in 1980, he was a Custodian at Somerset High School; previously, he was an Elevator Operator at the Sagamore Mills for many years. He was a member of the Thursday Club of Somerset Senior Citizens; a member of the P.A.C.L. of Somerset; and of St. John of God Holy Name Society. He and his wife enjoyed traveling and recreational activities. He was a member of St. John of God Church.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St. on Thursday at 8:00 A.M. followed by a mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church at 9:00 A.M. Internment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 4-8 P.M.
