Constance M. “Connie” Newell, 74 of Medford died Sunday after a brief illness in the Aronld House Stoneham, MA.
Born in Lexington, she lived in Medford since 1950 and was the daughter of the late Antonette (Mongelli) and Louis Cecere. Connie was a Registered Electrologist, in Medford Sq. since 1969 and a member of the Board of Electrologist also since 1969.
Wife of Wilfred E. Newell. Devoted mother of William Newell and his wife Betty of Groveland, Robert Newell and his wife Lynn of Stoneham, Lee Newell-Dion and her husband Patrick of Medford. Loving grandmother of Zachary, Adam, Ashlyn and Lisa. Sister of Annmarie McGrane of Peabody, Charles Cecere of East Falmouth, Charles Ganno of Wilmington, and cherished niece of Helen Smith of Lexington.
A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Thursday 2 - 4 and 7 – 9.
Services will conclude with burial at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
