WORCESTER: Elizabeth M. (Reidy) Kelley, 83, died Monday, January 31, 2005, in the Hospice Residence at Coes Pond, after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 62 years, Denis B. Kelley; a son, Denis F. Kelley, of Worcester; two daughters, Paulette F. Kelley-Sherrill and her husband George of Holden, and Maureen M. Siedlecki; a sister, Eileen M. Reidy, of Worcester; three grandchildren, Hannah K. Sherrill, Michael E. and James C. Siedlecki; and many nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth was born in Castleisland, County Kerry, Ireland, daughter of the late Daniel and Margaret (Lean) Reidy. She lived in Worcester most of her life, worked as a housekeeper at Becker College for many years and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.
A Funeral Mass was held in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove St., followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Holden, MA. There were no calling hours. The family suggests donations in memory of Elizabeth be made to Youville House, c/o Catholic Charities, 10 Hammond St., Worcester, MA 01604. KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St., is assisting the family with arrangements.
