GENEVIEVE LUCILLE (OAKLEY) FLENER, 89, passed away in Taylorsville, KY. on April 14, 2015.
She was a retired 20 year employee of P. Lorillard, previous member of Eastern Star, and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan Flener, parents, Walter and Gladys Oakley; and her sisters, Patsy Ward, Geneva Campbell, and Ulave Graves.
Survivors include her daughters, Judy Kannapel (Charles) and Marilyn Ashley (Paul); four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and her sister, Joyce Ann Hulett.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial at 2 p.m. Friday in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 – 11 a.m. Friday.
