James G. Jordan of Medford passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2005 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford.
Born in Somerville, Jim was the loving son of Rita (Campbell) Jordan of Medford and the late William Jordan. He was a Disabled United States Marine Corp Veteran serving our Country during the Vietnam War. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and Rifle Marksman’s Badge.
Jim was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (Carpenter) Jordan. He was the dear brother of William F. Jordan, Joseph M. Jordan, Nancy E. Frechette, Susan R. Caron and the late Stephen Jordan. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday at 8 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Jim in St. Joseph’s Church 118 High St. Medford at 9am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Monday 6-8 pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
