Agnes Kavulich, Sturges, Pa., daughter of the late Andrew Novajosky and Julia Sewar Novajosky, passed away Sunday morning surrounded by her family. Her husband, George Kavulich Sr., died in 1983.

Agnes is survived by her daughter, Jule Marie Angeli and husband, Bob, Justus, Pa.; son, Andrew Kavulich and wife, Connie, Carlisle, Pa.; and son, George Kavulich Jr. and wife, Ann, Archbald Pa. She is also survived by her brother, Steve Novajosky and wife, Mary, Peckville, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph Novajosky, John Estock, Michael Estock; and sister, Mary Narbud.

Agnes was most proud of her grandchildren, Rob Angeli and wife, Jennifer, Lattimer, Pa.; Jeff Angeli, Lancaster, Pa.; Christopher Kavulich and wife, Bethany, Carlisle, Pa.; Andrea Rosenberry and husband, Jake, Newburg, Pa.; George Kavulich III and wife, Allison, North Carolina; and Leanne Kavulich, Archbald, Pa. Recent addition, John Bernard Kavulich, great-grandson, Carlisle, Pa., brought Agnes immense joy.

A member Holy Cross Parish, Olyphant, and the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, Agnes was a devout Catholic with strong convictions. She also enjoyed spending time with her dear friends, Mary Ann Zipay, Marge Konkol, Regina Dippre and the late Ruth Snell, playing cards, going to the movies, and out to eat. Agnes had a very special neighbor, Pat Fenton, who treated her like family. Agnes especially loved the holidays when her family would gather and celebrate as one. She also enjoyed spending many an hour at the local casinos. Most of all, Agnes was a loving and caring person, and an inspiration to all of her family members. She leaves behind many beautiful memories and a huge void that will never be filled.
The family wishes to thank Geisinger Community Medical Center and VNA Hospice Center for their care and compassion.
