Edward Stanley Zdanowski

Edward Stanley Zdanowski, 83, of Alexandria, went to be with the Lord on April 13, 2015 at Community Hospital.
He was born August 26, 1931 in Arnold, Pennsylvania to Edward J. and Sally (Jaroszek) Zdanowski.
He was a physical therapist for more than 25 years before retiring in 1997.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anderson where he was very active.
He graduated from Penn State University and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler's Fan. He enjoyed time with his family.
Survivors include his five children, David (Melissa) Zdanowski; Karen (David) Scofield; Lisa (Rod) Beeson; Linda (Ronald) Bannon and Daniel Zdanowski; sixteen grandchildren, Joshua, Alexandra, Hannah, Delainey and Ava Zdanowski; Noah, Zachary and Jacob Scofield; Ashley and Hailee Beeson; Tyler, Kyle, Ryan, Chris, Luke and Joanna Bannon and a great-granddaughter, Layla Bannon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joan (Link) Zdanowski whom he married July 23, 1960 in St. Henry, Ohio; sisters, Adelia "Dolly" Seglin and Loretta Zdanowski and a grandson, Steven P. Bannon.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Monsignor Robert L. Sell, III officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 17 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
