Obituary

Albert G. “Al” Rondeau age 94 of Brockton, died Monday April 13, 2015 at the Braemoor Nursing Home after a period of failing health. He was the loving husband of Dorothy (Hutto) for 70 years. Al was born in Brockton the son of the late Damase and Blanche (Doucette) Rondeau. He attended Brockton Schools and lived in the city for most of his life.
During WWII, Al served in the Army Air Corps and was discharged as a staff sergeant. Following the war, he worked for Bay State Gas Company for 39 years before retiring. In his free time enjoyed bowling and golfing.
Al is survived by his daughter Annette Stanek and her husband Peter of Brockton and was the brother of Lillian Benoit of Brockton and the late Lionel Rondeau who was killed in action during WWII.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (rte. 123) Brockton on Thursday 10-11am with a funeral service at 11am.Burial in the Mass National Cemetery, Bourne. Donations in Al’s name may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
