Shrewsbury- Leo J. Mantha, 76,of 11 Edgemere Blvd., died Tuesday, Feb. 1, in UMass-Memorial Medical Center.
He leaves his life partner, Shirley A. Rodgers, with whom he lived; two sons, Alan P. Mantha of Royce City, TX, and Barry J. Mantha of Cherry Valley; three daughters, Peggy A. Dussault of Cherry Valley, Cheryl A. Nardone of Charlton, and Sharon L. Duval of Shrewsbury; two brothers, Donald Rodgers of Brookfield and James Rodgers of Worcester; three sisters, Joan Lavoie and Carol Sullivan, both of Worcester, and Mary Hoogasian of Spencer; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Leicester, son of Silveo and Ethel (Crandell) Mantha.
Mr. Mantha was a shipper for many years at Oilzum Company, retiring in 1993.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester. Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, in the funeral home.
