Obituary

Estelle J. Lessard, 94, lifelong resident of Manchester, died April 12, 2015 surrounded by her loving family after a short illness.
Born in Manchester on February 14, 1921, she was the daughter of Jeremy and Laura (Paquette) Simonneau. She was educated in the local school system.
She had previously worked as a seamstress in the mill yard at Manchester Knitted Fashions.
While in high school, Estelle was a leader in her class and was a majorette. She enjoyed cooking and was an excellent seamstress. She will be remembered for her friendly, outgoing nature and for being a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who cherished time with family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Cyril Lessard.
Family members include her children, Arthur Lessard of Manchester, Paul Lessard of Manchester, his twin-sister Pauline Lang and husband Peter of Bantam, CT, son Roger Lessard and wife Karen of Greenfield, NH, son Richard Lessard and wife Sharon of Centreville, VA; five grandchildren, Leigh, Ben, and Tim Lessard, Michael and David Lang; one sister, Claire Boucher of Hudson, NH; a niece, Violet Bournival; many nephews, nieces and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belmont St. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Road.
