Nona Lee Goodman Dove, 88, of Lakeland, Florida, formerly of Lenox, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Florida. A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Dove at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2015, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. N. C. Spradley will officiate. Mrs. Dove will be laid to rest at Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery in Lenox.
Mrs. Dove was born June 10, 1926 in Pocahontas, Arkansas, the daughter of Alex T. Goodman and Ruth Eaton Goodman, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Preston Dove, Sr. She was a supervisor in textile manufacturing.
Among Mrs. Dove's survivors is her daughter and son-in-law, Jean H. and Bruce Pitts of Lakeland, Florida.
