WORCESTER - Ronald O. Messier, 66, of 12 Plantation Street died Tuesday April 9 in Worcester Medical Center - St. Vincent Hospital.
Mr. Messier leaves his wife of 43 years Claire I. (Richard) Messier of Worcester; one son David V. Messier of Oxford; one sister Joan Messier of California; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a son Arthur O. Messier of Worcester who died in 1984 and a brother Arthur Messier. Mr. Messier was born in Worcester son of Octave and Agnes (St. Germain) Messier.
Mr. Messier was member of Notre Dame des Canadiens Church in Worcester. He worked as a machine operator for Reed & Prince retiring many years ago.
The funeral will be held on Friday April 12 in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond Street at 11:30 AM. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours are on Thursday April 11 from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
