Jerome M. “Jerry” Mahoney
...formerly of Cambridge; age 53
Nottingham, NH - Jerome M. “Jerry” Mahoney, age 53, formerly of Cambridge, Mass., died
Friday morning, Feb. 4, at his home in Nottingham, after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved
soul-mate of Joyce MacNeil, of Nottingham.
He was born in Cambridge, Mass., Sept. 14, 1951, son of the late Arthur F. and Rita E.
(Raftery) Mahoney. He lived the greater part of his life in Cambridge, and had moved to
Nottingham six years ago.
He served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard during the Vietnam War era.
He was employed as a driver for Pepsi, based in Wilmington, Mass.
Besides his soul-mate, he is survived by two brothers, Arthur F. Mahoney Jr. of Tewksbury, MA,
Paul F. Raftery of Barrington, R.I.; a sister, Elizabeth Ann Gallison of Nottingham, NH; and many
nieces and nephews.
He was also brother of the late Bernadette “Bonnie” Straticos.

A Memorial Mass was celebrated Monday, Feb. 7, in St. William’s Church, Tewksbury, MA. At his request, all other funeral services were private.
