Mark C. Pierce, 62, of New Bedford died April 8, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late George F. Pierce, Jr. and Marie L. (McKenna) Pierce, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
Mark served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was an avid New England sports enthusiast.
Survivors include 2 brothers, David Pierce and his wife Karen of Wilton, CT and George F. "Rick" Pierce, III and his wife Sandra of Acushnet; a sister, Lori Dexter and her husband Ricky of Fairhaven; and many nieces and nephews.
His visiting hours will be held on Sunday, April 12th from 3-6 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
