George Willis, age 72, passed away at the South Shore Hospital on Wednesday, April 8, 2015.
George was the husband of the late Donna M. (Abraham) Willis and is survived by his two children, Donna Lang and her husband Paul of Weymouth and Edward Willis and his fiancée Lisa Duarte of Taunton and his granddaughter, Kristina Lang of Weymouth. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Hazel Willis.
George was born in Winthrop, grew up and lived in Quincy for 16 years before living in Weymouth for the last 48 years.
He was the owner of Mayflower Towing in Quincy for 16 years before becoming a Truck driver for Clean Harbors in Weymouth for 48 years. George was a member of the Moose Lodge in Braintree and the Eagles in Weymouth.
Visiting Hours will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Sunday, April 12 from 2 to 6 PM. The Funeral Service will be private.
