FALL RIVER - Ernestine A. Machado, residence 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River, Ma. formerly of Alden St., Fall River, MA, died Wednesday at the Catholic Memorial Home. She is survived by one Brother: John Machado of Fall River, MA. She was also sister of the late Manuel “Mac” Machado and Aldina A. Machado.
Born in Fall River, se was the daughter of the late Arthur A. Machado and the late Maria(Sousa)Machado. She was a life long Fall River resident and had worked briefly in the card room in the textile industry, before retiring. She was mostly a homemaker at home.
Her funeral which is arranged by the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St., will take place on Monday at the SS Margaret and Mary Chapel at the Catholic Memorial Home, with visitation from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM with mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 A.M. in the Chapel. Internment in St. Patrick Cemetery.
