New Bedford – Robert C. Young Jr., age 22, passed away on April 4, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Born in Wareham, he was the son of Angela (Masse) and William Furey of New Bedford. He worked at St. Luke's Hospital in Transportation and Maintenance.
His family includes his parents: William and Angela; his sister, Alexandria Furey of New Bedford, Paternal Grandfather, Thomas Furey, Maternal Grandfather, Peter Wainio; as well as several cousins, aunts and uncles. He was also the grandson of the late Donna Angelo and Maureen Masse.
His funeral will be Monday beginning in the funeral home at 10:00 A.M. with a service in the funeral home at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visiting hours will take place in the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 P.M. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
