George Evan Richardson, 77, of Rochelle, Georgia, died Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at Northside Villa in Rochelle.
A family gathering will be held Thursday evening, from 6 to 7:30, April 9, 2015, at the Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Richardson was born June 11, 1937, in Lawrence, Kansas, to the late Evan and Lousie Marie Richardson. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy and was a truck driver for over 54 years. Mr. Richardson enjoyed fishing, hunting and telling a great story, to those that would gather around. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his son: John Richardson of Alamogordo, New Mexico; three daughters: Gerri Gray of Fitzgerald, Karen & Scott Bohannon of Fitzgerald and Carrie & Mark Hall of Abbeville; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Rozann Stout Richardson.
