Born, raised and educated in Revere a graduate of Revere High School. Prior to retirement he worked as a shipper in manufacturing. He is survived by his children Steven Katz of SC and Jean Katz of NH his stepsons Paul Macmillan and James Macmillan of Revere. Loving grandfather Jason Katz, Caitlin MacMillan, Michael MacMillan and Jason MacMillan. Dear brother of Joseph Katz, Frank Katz and the late Florence Gladstone, Sylvia Katz and Jackie Katz. Services were private. Assisting the family with arrangements is the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Avenue, Cary Square, Chelsea.
