Walter V. Vicini of Canton died peacefully with his family at his bedside on April 5, 2015. He was 88 years old.
Walter was a proud veteran of W.W. II serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired Manager of Janitorial Services for the V.A. Hospital in West Roxbury for over 26 years. Walter was a faithful parishioner and usher in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. He enjoyed playing bingo and watching his favorite Boston Red Sox and NE Patriots.
Devoted husband of the late Margaret M. Vicini. Step-Father of Edward N. Beal Jr. of Hawaii and Robert M. Beal and his wife Janet of Newton and proud Papa of Casey Quinn Beal of San Francisco and Eddie Beal of Florida. Uncle of Diane Crowley and husband Joseph and son Shawn of Franklin, William Vicini and his wife Sheila of Bellingham, Karen Young and her husband Jim.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours in the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home at 210 Sherman Street, Canton on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM and a committal service with military honors in the National Cemetery, Bourne on Thursday April 9, 2015 at 11 AM.
