Barry S. Gould, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He was 57 years old.
Barry was born in Revere on May 16, 1957, a son of Edward J. Gould and Norma M. (Wilson) Gould. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1975. Barry worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in their Maintenance Division for over 20 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, snorkeling and loved to travel.
Barry is the devoted father of Kaitlin Gould of Maine and the late Sean Gould. He is the beloved fiance of Debbie (Carr) Fichtner of Charlestown and Papa to Owen. He is the loving son of Norma M. (Wilson) Gould of Charlestown and the late Edward J. Gould. He is the beloved brother of Kathleen Shepard of Maine, James Gould of New York, Steven Gould of Chelsea and the late Edward J. Gould Jr. He is also the loving uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Barry's visiting hours on Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 3 to 7 P.M. with his Funeral Service at 6:30 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His burial will be private.
