Wayne Howard, 85, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, April 6, 2015, at his residence.
Mr. Howard was born May 11, 1929, in New Albany, Mississippi, to the late Martha Jarvis Howard. He lived in the community for over 20 years and was a former employee of a trailer manufacturer. Mr. Howard’s favorite past time was shooting pool.
He is survived by his children: Cheri Izell of Fitzgerald and Carol Caple of Ocala, Florida; four grandchildren: Samantha Gallentine of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Amanda Fitzgerald of Alapaha, Ben Izell and Jonathan Izell of Fitzgerald, Margaret Renaud, Christen Wooten, Ricky Formella, and Michael Caple, all of Ocala, Florida; 17 great grandchildren and a brother: Frank Howard of Ocala, Florida. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a son: Carl Wayne Howard and an infant daughter: Carmen Louise Howard.
