Margaret L. Murray, 76, of Manchester, NH, died Wednesday, February 2, 2005 in the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. Mrs. Murray was born in Hillsborough, NH on February 1, 1929, a daughter of the late Howard and Ida (Gould) Colburn. She was a resident of Manchester for the past 20 years, formerly living in Derry, NH. She was employed by Blackrock in Derry for 10 years. Margaret was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed family life with her children and their families.
She is survived by seven daughters, Patricia Beaulieu and her husband John of Portland, ME, Diana Woodsum of Auburn, ME, Ida Foti and her husband Stephen of Keller, TX, Pamela Perrotta and her husband Paul of Hudson, NH, Sandra Steverson and her husband Alton of Lexington, SC, Jo-Ann Smith of Evansville, WI, Rebecca Murray of Manchester, four sons, Ronald Murray, Michael J. Murray Jr., both of Manchester, James Murray, Stephen Murray and his wife Barbara, both of Derry, 19 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three brothers, Edward Colburn of Alabama, Stanley Colburn of Belmont, NH, Philip Colburn of Greenville, NH, two sisters, Doris Bent of Charlestown, NH, Merle Woodward of E. Derry, numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Michael J. Murray Sr. who died in 1985.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 5th at 10:00am at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Rt. 102, Hudson, NH. Friends may call on Friday from 2 -4 and 7 -9pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry.
