BROOKFIELD: Dolores "Doe" M. (VanBrug) Gosselin 67, of Fox Run, died Sunday, April 5 at her home, surrounded by her family.
She leaves her husband of 47 years Leo P. Gosselin, her two daughters Lynn-Marie Lange and her husband Michael of Charlton and Laurie-Ann Connors and her husband Michael of Spencer, two brothers Harry and Garry VanBrug of No.Grosvenordale, Ct., three grandchildren Nicole, Bethany & Patrick Lange of Charlton, her dear cousin who she considered her "brother" Bill French of Charlton, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Larry VanBrug. She also leaves her wonderful close friends who stayed at her side and helped care for her while she was ill.
Doe worked at Varney's Garage in E.Brookfield as a dispatcher for 17 years, retiring in 2012.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Harry and Cecilia (Henry) VanBrug. She enjoyed going to the beach, gardening, time with her children and grandchildren and helping her daughter at Dance Techniques Studio.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 7th from 4 to 7 p.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr.,Spencer. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Overlook Memorial Hospice, 88 Masonic Home Rd., Charlton, MA 01507 or the Food Pantry at Mary Queen of the Rosary, 60 Maple Street, Spencer, MA 01562.
