Earl T. Dawson, 88, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center.
He was born in Meade County, KY to Clayton & Mary (Sims) Dawson.
Earl was a retired Foreman at Kosmosdale Cement Plant, with 38 years service, and a WW II Army Veteran.
He was an avid Bowler at Dixie Bowl Lanes.
Earl was preceded in death by his Parents, his loving wife Virginia (DeMarsh) Dawson, a Grandchild, 4 Brothers and 4 Sisters.
Survivors include his children: Allene Reichert (Bob), Barbara Keabler, Mary Basham (Danny) and Tommy Dawson Jr. (Lucy);
5 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 13 Great Great Grandchildren; a Brother: Clarence Dawson (June) and a Sister: Hallie Brooks.
Funeral Services will be held 12 Noon Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be Sunday 3 – 8 PM.
