Obituary

NATICK: Sandra F. “Sandy” (Nims) Wilson passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Tufts Medical Center of Boston at the age of seventy-two.

Born in 1942, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Helen (Regan) Nims and a lifelong Natick resident and a member of St. Patrick’s Church and St. Linus Church.

Sandy was a forty-year volunteer of the Foresters of Natick and the past vice president of the northeast region and the recipient of the International Fraternal President’s Award.

She enjoyed traveling, the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots, especially Tom Brady. Sandra worked with medical records for Wingate Nursing Home in Sudbury and the Carlyle House in Framingham for many years.

She was the devoted wife of Robert J. Wilson of Natick and together they shared twenty-five years of marriage.

Mrs. Wilson was the loving mother of Helen L. Thomas and her late husband Jeffrey of Southborough, Peggy K. Pignone and her husband Mike of Manassas, Virginia, Penny J. Young of Webster, Lisa L. Zonghi and her husband Rico of Franklin and the late Virginia E. Treague-Kenworthy.

Cherished grandmother of Austin and Tyler Treague of Gainsville, Virginia, Rebecca and Scott Thomas of Southborough, Samantha and Danny Pignone of Manassas, Virginia, Jayme Bellofatto of South Carolina, Chrysta Heafey of North Carolina, Alexa Young of Webster and Jake and Kaitlyn Zonghi of Franklin and sister of Karen Al-Wazzon of Kuwait. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common on Tuesday, April 7th at 10:30AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Linus Church, 119 Hartford St., Natick at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Natick.

Visiting hours in the funeral home on Monday, April 6th from 5:00-8:00PM.
