Mrs. Lois P. (Fraser) Finocchiaro, of Danvers and formerly of Taunton, died Thursday, April 2 at the New England Home for the Deaf, where she had resided since 1989. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert St.Martin and the late Henry Finocchiaro. She was born 91 years ago in Boston, the daughter of the late Gordon and Miriam (Hawkins) Fraser. She was educated in Boston, having attended the Horace Mann School for the Deaf, and had been a Taunton resident for 45 years before moving to Danvers. Lois enjoyed sewing, crocheting, watching soap operas and sports on television, and spending time with her family. She was a communicant of the former St. Jacques Parish in Taunton.
She leaves: 1 daughter: Bonnie Connors of Taunton; 2 grandchildren: Christy Chartier of Fla., and John Connors of Taunton; 4 great grandchildren: Paige, Levi, Joseph and Richard, and several nieces and nephews. Lois was also the mother of the late James R. St.Martin and grandmother of the late Elizabeth (Connors) DeCosta.
Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home of Taunton.
