Beloved husband of Evelyn (Keenan) Moriarty for 52 years. Loving father of Michael Moriarty and his wife Patricia of Rockland, Stephen Moriarty and his wife Nancy of Greenfield, Maureen and her husband Stephen Ritucci of Carver, and Janet and her husband Robert Buckley of North Attleboro. Brother of Joan Forde of Wollaston and the late Beatrice Callahan. Also lovingly survived by 9 grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Saturday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann's Church, Wollaston at 9:45 AM.
Visiting hours Friday 3-8 PM.
Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
Joseph spent over seven years in the United States Naval Reserve receiving an honorable discharge in 1959. During his thirty eight year career, he held several management positions with New England Power Service Comany. Prior to his lengthy illness, he was an active member of the Castle Island Association, where he and his wife Evelyn enjoyed walks at Castle Island and traveling with the other members. Joe also enjoyed his retirement and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was very active at St. Ann Parish in Wollaston.
