Milton Clifford “Cliff” Allen, 71, a retired Sales Representative for Alltech Equipment of Abington, died suddenly on Jan 31, 2005 at his home in Dover.
Born in Newton, he graduated from Newton High School and attended Tabor Academy and Dartmouth College. He left Dartmouth to enter the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He later graduated from Babson College in Wellesley. A resident of Dover for the past 37 years, he enjoyed gardening, camping, beaches and doing crossword puzzles. He also was an avid sports fan and enjoyed sketching cartoons and caricatures.
Husband of the late Beverly (Brown) Allen, he is survived by his children Christopher W. Allen and his wife Monique of Franklin, Lisa R. Allen of Snow Camp NC, Jennifer J. Allen of Lancaster KY, and Tracey D. Allen of Westborough; his grandchildren JoAnna Hermanns, Maranda Allen and Bennett Allen and his brother David Allen of Sandwich.
A funeral service will be held on Fri Feb 4 at 11 AM in the Newton Cemetery Chapel 791 Walnut St. Newton Centre. Interment will follow in Newton Cemetery. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave. Needham on Thurs from 5-8 PM.
