Dorothy A. (MacKinnon) O’Donnell 97, of Needham formerly of Roslindale died on Monday January 31st at the Metro West Medical Center in Natick. Born in Prince Edward Island, Canada Dorothy came t to this country when she was sixteen . A resident of Roslindale for many years Dorothy had been a resident of Needham for the last 10 years. While in Roslindale Dorothy worked at Drakes Bakery for many years. She was also a past President of the VFW Fallon Post #1050 Auxiliary in Roslindale. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Herbert J. O’Donnell. Loving mother of Dorothy Clair Hamm of Roslindale and Evelyn Holloway of Neptune NJ. Sister of the late Frances Bowen, Mary Bell and Freda McNeil. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services at the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Friday Feb 4th at 1:00 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Friday from 11-1 prior to the service.
