Michael Victor, age 66 of Medford, died Tuesday in the Massachusetts General Hospital of Boston, after a brief illness. Born in Kamien-Podoloski, Poland, he was the son of the late John and Sophia (Brownia) Wiktorowicz.
Michael came to the United States in 1954 and settled in Waltham. In 1997 he moved to Medford where he lived with his wife Lillian.
He was a Maintenance Supervisor, employed by the Wallex Shopping Center of Waltham. Michael retired in 2001.
He is survived by his wife Lillian (Correnti) Victor of Medford, son Jean Michael Victor of California, three stepdaughters, Lisa Toppin & Christine Blake both of NH, and Patricia Motter of PA. Step Grandfather of Naomi, Justin, Lauren, Rebekah, Faith, Hannah and Grace. Son in law of Alfina Correnti of California, brother-in-law of Roy Correnti of NH, Vincent Correnti of CA and Francine Roy of Townsend, MA.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Saturday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
