Josephine M. Amoroso, 91 of Medford died Sunday after a long illness in the Woburn Nursing Center Woburn, MA.
Born in Boston, she lived in Medford since 1942 and was the daughter of the late Rosalie (Busalachi) and Vincenzo Novello. Josephine was a homemaker.
Beloved wife of the late Fred C. Amoroso. Devoted mother of John J. of Boston, Vincent of Boxborough, and the late Roseann Salemme. Loving grandmother of Paul Richard Salemme of Billerica, Marina and Mark Amoroso both of Boxborough. Sister of Frank Novello of Nahant, and the late Ann Mudd, Beatrice Grispi, Augustina Marino and Russell Novello.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 5 thru 9. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
