New Bedford – William F. Fillion, age 71 of New Bedford, passed away on Monday March 30, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the loving husband of Carole A. (Souza) Fillion and the son of Jennie (Luminiello) and Frederick Fillion.
Mr. Fillion was a lifelong resident of this area and worked as a Master Craftsman.
His surviving family includes 4 children: Lisa Husick, Tina Fillion Anderson, Stacey DaCosta and William Fillion; grandchildren: Felicia Lawrence, Matthew DaCosta, Mackenzie Fillion, Lindsey Fillion, Jessica Husick and Katelyn Husick; great grandson, Ayden Figueroa; sister, Cynthia McGann and a cousin Dennis Frezza.
Mr. Fillion was cremated. Burial of his cremated remains will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery on Tuesday, April 14 at 11:00 A.M. If you would like to take part in the procession to the cemetery please arrive at the funeral home by 10:15 A.M.
