WORCESTER-Carroll H. (Sullivan) Audette, 65 of Sarasota, FL and Worcester, died Tuesday, April 9th in The Hospice Residence. She leaves her son Charles J. Audette of Pittsfield, formerly of Worcester, her sister Nancy E. Durkin of Boylston and several nephews and nieces. A sister Gloria A. Gray of West Boylston died in 1983.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Charles F. Jeff Sullivan former Mayor of Worcester and Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts and Helen N. (McMahon) Sullivan. Mrs. Audette was a graduate of the Bancroft School and Regis College. She had been dining room manager for 14 years with Harrison Conference Services, for New England Telephone, now known as Verizon at the Verizon Learning Center of Marlboro, she retired in 1998. Previously, Mrs. Audette had owned Sullivan & Sullivan Insurance Agency in Worcester and served as vice-president of the Webster Square Package Store, Inc. She was a member of Saint Mary of the Hills Parish in Boylston.
The funeral will be Saturday, April 13th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Mary of the Hills Church, 630 Cross Street, Boylston. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Friday, April 12th from 4:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
