Obituary



Worcester - John M. Cronin, 40, of Worcester, died on Tuesday, March 31st in his home.

John was born in Worcester, son of the late Worcester Police Officer, Michael J. Cronin. He is survived by his mother, Marianne (Letourneau) Cronin; a brother, Jason Cronin and his wife, Jennifer; a sister, Micaela Cronin all of Worcester; three half brothers, Michael Cronin of Worcester, Brian Cronin of Worcester and Sean Cronin of Marlborough; several nieces and nephews, including Ashlynn and Kendall Cronin of Worcester.

Mr. Cronin is a graduate of Auburn High School and also attended Quinsigamond Community College. He was an avid fisherman, pool player and skier and also loved to play both hockey and baseball. John was a fan of the New England sports teams and loved to drive his Camaro. He had a great love for his late dog, Blaze and John was a special person who will be remembered for his big heart.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 7th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a funeral mass at 10 AM in St. Stephen Church 357 Grafton St. Burial will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 6th from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home. Flowers may be sent to honor John’s memory.
