Stasia B. (Mikolajcyk) Lima, 84, of Fairhaven died Wednesday April 1, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Francis M. "Frank" Lima, who passed away on May 13, 2014. They had been married for 57 years.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Adam and Stasia Josephine (Slowinska) Mikolajcyk, she lived in Fairhaven for most of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church.
Mrs. Lima enjoyed flower arranging, playing Bingo, going to the casino, going on cruises and vacations to Bermuda, watching Westerns and old movies, and shopping. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dog Teddy.
Survivors include two children, Edward F. Lima and his wife Lori of Dartmouth, and Linda J. Clark and her husband Jonathan of Fairhaven; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Rebekah, Elizabeth, and Kaitlin Clark, Krista, Kelsey, and Adam Lima; two nieces, Cheryl DeFelice and Sandra Empson; and several cousins.
Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at St . Joseph's Church, Fairhaven, at 10 AM.
