Mae G. Quealy passed away peacefully at the Massachusetts General Hospital after a brief illness. She was 92. A Somerville resident for most of her life, Mae was the daughter of the late Jean and Frances (Piestrzak) Quealy. She enjoyed a long career in banking and was with the Shawmut Bank until her retirement. Mae enjoyed travelling in her younger years and was devoted to her nieces and nephews. Mae lived in Arlington for several years before returning to Somerville where she was a longtime parishioner and choir member at Saint Catherine of Genoa Church.
The dear sister of Ray Quealy of Pittsburg, PA and the late Walter Quealy, she was a beloved aunt to Christopher Quealy, Anne Garner and Mark Quealy.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Saturday morning April 4th from 9 to 10:30 with a service in the funeral home at 10:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
