Joseph G. Adams Jr. of Stoneham passed away on Friday, January 28, 2005 at Winchester Hospital. He was 66 years of age.
Born in Somerville, Joseph was the loving son of the late Joseph G. Adams and Margaret (McGahan) Adams. Joseph was a much beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all.
Joseph was a proud graduate of Boston College. He was the President of J&C Adams Company Incorporated in Cambridge. Joseph was on the Board of Directors at North Cambridge Co-Operative Bank and a member of the Point Independence Yacht Club.
Joseph enjoyed boating and fishing. He loved his family. They were first and foremost in his life.
Joseph was the beloved husband of Carol (Querze) Adams. He was the devoted father of Laura Denoncour and her husband Jeff of Manchester, Joseph Adams III and his wife Robin, Diane Gills and her husband Fred, Stephen Adams and his wife Colleen, all of Melrose, Carolyn Summers and her husband John of Wakefield, Andrea Cairns and her husband Chris of Sandown, NH. Joseph was the cherished grandfather of 12 and the dear brother of Barbara McKenna, Thomas Adams, Gail Caccavaro, Claire Morelli and Karen Adams. He was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Wednesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Joseph in St. Patrick’s Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Stoneham.
