Obituary

William Wallace Killoran, a 58 year resident of Charlestown and formerly of Newbrunswick, Canada, entered into eternal life on Monday, March 30, 2015 at his home in Charlestown. He was 91 years old.

Wallace was born on January 26, 1924 in New Brunswick, Canada, a son of the late William A. Killoran and Helen K. (Duke) Killoran. He grew up in New Brunswick where he was educated in the New Brunswick school system and graduated from Jacquet River High School in 1938. Wallace immigrated to the United States from Newbrunswick, Canada in 1956 and met his future wife Mary Barry shortly thereafter and settled in Charlestown. Wallace worked as a machinist for Polaroid Corporation for over 20 years and retired in 1985. He was a member of The Irish American Club of Malden and was Past President of St. Mary's Church St. Vincent De Paul Society in Charlestown. Wallace was an avid Boston Bruins and Boston Red Sox fan, but his most cherished moments in his lifetime was the quality time he was able spend with his wife, children and grandchildren.

Wallace is the beloved husband of the late Mary M. (Barry) Killoran. He is the devoted father of Eileen Vidal and her husband Gilbert of Nashua New Hampshire, William J. Killoran of Charlestown, John M. Killoran of Charlestown, Carmel T. Killoran of Charlestown, Daniel W. Killoran and his wife Andrea of Charlestown, Michael B. Killoran and his wife Kelly of Charlestown, Kevin P. Killoran of Charlestown and the late Kathy Killoran. He is the loving grandfather to Maggie, John, Nicholas, Caitlyn, Will, Patrick, Brigid and Mary.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Wallace's Funeral on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours will be on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
