Obituary

Joseph A. Ferragamo of Medford died on Sunday, March 29. Born and raised in East Boston, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Rose (Pignone) Ferragamo. Joseph proudly served in the US Army following World War II, then settled in Medford. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a mail handler.

Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Annmarie (Pelkey) Ferragamo and the devoted father of Patrick Ferragamo and his wife Linda of Medford, and Roseanne Verge of Youngsville, NC. He was the loving grandfather of Scot Verge and his wife Sharon, Patricia Almquist and her husband Andrew, Annmarie Verge, and the late Brian Verge. Joseph was the loving great grandfather of Mason, Kalel, Kansas, Regan, Dalilah, Anthony, Landon, Daniel and Savanna. He was the brother of the late Anthony Ferragamo and his wife Ann, Mary Ferragamo, Pasquale Ferragamo and his wife Carmella, Theresa Michaud and her husband Norman. Joseph was the uncle of Maryann, Eileen, Anthony, Phillip, Robert, Joseph, Linda, Gail and Diane, and is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Saturday, April 4 at 5:30PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 2 through 5:30PM. Interment will be private.
