Obituary

James P. “Jimmy” Faradie, age 37, of North Easton, died Friday, March 27, 2015. Jimmy was born in the Goddard Memorial Hospital, Stoughton and raised in North Easton, the loving son of William C. and Noreen M. (Tarentino) Faradie of North Easton. A 1995 graduate of Oliver Ames High School, Jimmy played baseball and made the varsity team in his sophomore year. He loved journalism and meteorology and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Business Management from Curry College.
Jimmy had been involved with the family business, Vertec Corp., in North Easton. His hobbies included music, playing the guitar, astronomy, writing poetry and studying Shakespeare. He successfully auditioned and appeared in the movies Gone Baby Gone and Underdog. Jimmy also enjoyed Boston sports and always attended every Red Sox Opening Day game with his family. He was also thrilled to have attended several Patriots Super Bowl games with his father and brothers, especially this past Super Bowl.
Jimmy will be remembered as a kind and big hearted man who was always ready to give help to others. Spending time with his family, especially his two brothers, was most important to Jimmy. He made many trips with his family and most especially enjoyed Disney World.
In addition to his parents Bill and Noreen Faradie of North Easton, Jimmy is survived by his brothers, Billy Faradie, III and his fiancée Sue Rich of Norton, and Michael J. Faradie of North Easton and W. Hollywood, California. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, cousins and many close family friends.
The Faradie family would like to thank the Easton Police and Fire Departments.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton on Wednesday 3-7pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home on Thursday at 10am for a Funeral Blessing at St. Edith Stein Church (formerly St. Edward Church), 631 N. Main St. Brockton at 11am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Jimmy’s family requests donations be made to the James P. “Jimmy” Faradie Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Oliver Ames High School, 100 Lothrop Street, North Easton, MA 02356.
