NORTH DIGHTON – Genevieve M. (Corey) Farley, wife of the late George H. Farley, died at the Life Care Center of Raynham on March 28, 2015.
She was 89. Born, raised, and educated in North Dighton, she was the daughter of the late Antone S. and Mary (Lorian) Corey.
A homemaker for most of her adult life, Genevieve was also employed by Taunton’s Colonial Donut Shop for many years.
A dog lover, she also enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
Survivors include a son, Bruce P. Farley and his wife Linda of Rehoboth; a daughter, Colleen A. Braga and her husband John of North Dighton; two sisters, Madeline Silvia of Raynham and Barbara O’Connell of Taunton; two grandchildren, Matthew Farley of Berkley and Melissa Roderick of Somerset; five great grandchildren, Hailey, Jason, Ryan, Alec and Layla; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Robert, Raymond, Alfred and Mary Corey; and the late Irene Correia.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Friday, April 3rd at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 2nd from 5 to 8 p.m.
