Michelle Christine Zabriskie, 41, of Derry, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 27, 2015 at her home. She was born on October 5, 1973 in Woburn, MA, the daughter of Girard and Judith Fortin. She loved spending time with her daughter and watching her boys play their sports, especially football. Michelle was active on the Board of the Derry Demons Football Program. Her favorite place was Walt Disney World where the family vacationed on many happy occasions.
She is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Michael H. Zabriskie, one daughter, Ashley, and four sons, Michael, Jack, Daniel, and Luke, all of Derry. She is also survived by her parents, Girard and Judy Fortin of Burlington, MA, two half-brothers, Craig Massie of Los Angeles, CA and Chris Massie of Windham, NH, and their parents, Rob and Jan Massie; brother-in-law, Daniel Zabriskie of Northampton, MA, sister-in-law Linda Zabriskie of Brooklyn, NY and mother-in-law Irene Zabriskie of Queensbury, NY.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours were held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 4 to 8 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A Liturgy of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 10:30am in St. Mark’s Church, corner of Mammoth and South Roads, Londonderry, NH. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Zabriskie Family Trust Fund, c/o Northern Bank and Trust, 13 Center Street, Burlington, MA 01803.
