SPRINGFIELD – Rachel Ann Gibb, 2 year old beloved daughter of Lesmore A. “L.J.” Gibb, Jr. and Catherine A. (Walcott) Gibb, was Called Safely Home on Thursday, March 26, 2015. She passed into Eternal Life at her home in the Sixteen Acres section of Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family and her wonderful caregivers. She was born in Holyoke on August 17, 2012 and lived in Springfield her entire life. Besides her loving parents, she leaves her six loving brothers and sisters, Lesmore Alexander “Alex” Gibb, III, Caitlyn Alise Gibb, Joshua Aaron Gibb, Abigail Ayana Gibb, Simeon Andrew Gibb and Michael Anthony Gibb; her cherished grandparents, Lesmore A. Gibb, Sr. and Beverly E. Gibb of Jamaica, Queens, NY and Monica Mercer of Rosedale, Queens, NY; and her cherished great-grandmothers, Olive Gibb and Hyacinth Nugent, both of Brooklyn, NY. Her relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m. at the LifePoint Church, 603 New Ludlow Road, Chicopee, MA 01020.
