Cape Coral, FL – Raymond R. Morse, 72, of Rochester, MA and Ft. Meyers, FL died after a long illness on January 22, 2005 at Hope Hospice. He was the husband of Lorraine E. (King) Morse; they were married for 52 years.
Mr. Morse was born in Taunton, son of the late Herman R. and Clara I. (Ellis) Morse, and resided in Rochester most of his life. He was a member of the Suncoast Baptist Church, Ft. Meyers. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was employed by D.W. White Construction Inc., Acushnet until his retirement in 1997. He enjoyed woodworking.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by a sister: Althea Lawrence of Rochester; 2 brothers: Herman R. Morse, Jr. of Rochester and Russell A. Morse of Kensington, CT; an aunt: Ella Hardy of Yarmouthport, MA; and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral service on Monday, January 31, 2005 at 3:00 P.M. at the KIRBY FUNERAL HOME, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford.

Interment in Long Plain Cemetery, Acushnet.
